Becoming Licensed to Work in West Virginia

Becoming Licensed to Work in West Virginia

As you may or may not know, for you to continually work in the state of West Virginia, through HIS Sign or independently, you need to be registered and licensed with the West Virginia Registry of Interpreters (WVRI). You may work in West Virginia for up to 10 days annually without being licensed, but in order to work more than 10 days annually, you must be licensed by WVRI.

What you need to do?

1. If you are currently licensed with WVRI, please send a copy (photo or scan) to

TerpAdmin@HISsign.com.

2. If you are not licensed and you currently or at some point in the future you plan on working in West
